Wieder einmal bietet die offizielle Webseite zu Final Fantasy Explorers ein paar Neuigkeiten. Unter anderem wurde die Jobklasse “Barde” vorgestellt. Barden können mithilfe verschiedener Lieder ihre Mitstreiter heilen oder stärken. Viele weitere Screenshots kann man hier ansehen.

Auch die in der letzten News erwähnte “Crystal Drive”-Funktion wird näher erklärt. In diesem Modus kann der Spieler Angriffe verknüpfen und Beschwörungen für einen abschließenden Angriff rufen.

In Japan wird es außerdem bei Bestellung des Spiels zwei verschiedene Explorers-Hintergründe für den Nintendo 3DS geben. Kauft man das Spiel im Square Enix e-Store erhält man das “Legendary Dragon King”-Thema und bei Amazon Japan das “Adventurer’s Map”-Thema. Ob es diese Hintergründe auch außerhalb Japans geben wird, ist noch nicht bekannt.
