Final Fantasy XIII Übersetzung.

Hi, naja

US/ unsre Version:
- Lightning ist wesentlich freundlicher (trotz dass sie einen anderen Charakter gerne mal schlägt ;P) und wird am Ende worttechnisch zu sentimental übersetzt.

- Das Versprechen von Fang und Vanille und deren Vergangenheit sowie Verhalten wurde modifiziert, dass deren Verhältnis zueinander nicht mehr so eindeutig ist.

- Snow wurde angepasst, dass seine Sätze weniger "heroisch"/entschlossen wirken, sondern eher vollkommen verblendet und komplett träumerisch.

- Jihl wurde wesentlich grausamer dargestellt als sie eigentlich war, dinge wie "für jede Aufgabe gibt es das perfekte Werkzeug" hat sie niemals zu Vanille gesagt.

- Sazh Witz wurde nur an manchen Stellen einigermaßen behalten.

- Die Worte in der Videosequenz die Vanille zu Serah sagt, wurden komplett abgendert und umgekehrt ebenso.

- ebenso die in der Endsequenz von Vanille und Fang, wieder einmal haben sie ihr Versprechen zueinander komplett unter den Tisch fallen lassen.

- die letzte Endsequenz vor dem Boss- Kampf auf "Eden" wurde ebenfalls abgeändert.

- Kampfzeilen wurden abgeändert und an die Sprecher angepasst und nicht an die Charaktere.
im Englischen sagt Fang "Goodnight Sunshine" wenn sie einen Gegner tötet.
im Japanischen so etwas wie "seems like you weren't strong enough."

Im Großen und ganzen fließen auch die Voiceactor mit hinein, die einfach nur downright ugly sind, zum größten Teil. Allerdings ist das "nur" die meinung einiger Spieler die sich die japanische Version gegönnt haben.

Spielerisch wurde nichts geschnitten, was allerdings auch nicht gerade positiv ist.
Es gab im Internet auch einige Videos mit Untertitel aber Youtube hat sie weitgehend entfernen lassen.

Fang: But if we ignore our Focus, the fal'Cie will just make more people into l'Cie.
Fang: Like that girl from two days ago.
Fang: We don't know what we're supposed to do, but we'll just have to try.
Vanille: But—
Fang: If we gave up on our focus, do you think that these Cocoon people would forgive us?
Fang: They'll gang up on us and kill us!
Fang: Hey, Vanille.
Fang: After you remember the Focus, let's run away from this enemy-filled world, together.
Vanille: Fang?
Fang: You'll need to run away by yourself for now. I'm going to draw them here.
Fang: Don't worry.
Fang: Wherever you run to, I'll definitely find you.
Vanille: Wait! Fang!
Vanille: Fang! Don't! Why!?
Fang: I'm not about to let you turn into a Cie corpse.
Fang: Hey, Cocoon scum! I'm over here!

Fang: [narration] I had to draw them in so Vanille could get away.
After that, I was found by Raine's Calvary Corps.
I searched and searched for Vanille, but I didn't find her.
Neither Vanille, nor our Focus.

Lightning: I wonder if Serah will awake someday, too?
Fang: Hmm...
Fang: It's because we were useless l'Cie, that your sister was made into one.
Fang: It's our fault. I'm sorry.
[Lightning hits her]
Fang: Only once?
Lightning: Don't think that I'm finished with you.
Lightning: I'll let Serah decide whether we should forgive you or not.
Fang: That's the same thing that Snow said.
Fang: But he didn't hit me.
Lightning: You talked to Snow, too?
Fang: Yeah.
Fang: It was good that I apologised.
Fang: I feel a bit better about it now.
Lightning: So you only apologised to make yourself feel better?
Fang: Maybe.
Fang: How about you? Do you feel better after hitting me?
Lightning: Nothing's settled yet.
Fang: I'm going to get hit again.
Lightning: Felix Street is over there.
Lightning: Hope's house is still quite far away.
Fang: We'll have to hurry.

ist nur ein Beispiel von vielen und nicht gerade das Beste, aber das einzige was ich auf die Schnelle auftreiben konnte.

Da stellt sich einem doch die Frage:WARUM?! o.o
Wieso dieses sinnlose Abändern der Story und einigen zum Teil fundamentalen Sachen? Hat das irgendwelche pecunären/populistischen/ökonomischen Gründe? Oder denkt man,Europäer/Amerikaner können eine etwas emotionalere Geschichte nicht verstehen? oô Keine Ahnung,was das soll...
Übrigens:auch wenn Fang meiner Ansicht nach natürlich im Japanischen viel besser und emotionaler synchronisiert wurde,gefällt mir ihre englische Stimme viel besser...Die ist so schön rauchig irgendwie Lights Stimme finde ich auch besser als ihre japanische Originalstimmte oô Ist das irgendwie schräg? xD

Ihr eigentliches Versprechen war "für immer zusammen zu bleiben"

[spoiler]Deshalb hat sich Fang auch zu einer L'cie machen lassen. Vanille ist auserwählt worden, Ragnarok zu erschaffen, aber Fang wollte ihr helfen, sie davor bewahren. Mah zu lange her dass ich alle logs und Daten durchgelesen habe, in diesem Fall könnte es auch umgekehrt gewesen sein. [/spoiler]

Spoiler zur Frage:
[spoiler]Who knows, so genau wurde das jetzt auch nicht beleuchtet, nur ... dass sie deutlich wesentlich mehr als Freunde sind. Besonders interessant sind da die Unterhaltungen bevor man Bahamut und Hechi erhält. Yuri, ist also etwas hart ausgedruckt,[/spoiler]

Bahamut Szene übersetzung:

All those that hate l'Cie should die. I don't care how many of them are going to die.
It's better than seeing my friends turning into Cie Corpses! If you can't do it, I'll do it myself. I'll go ahead and destroy Cocoon!
Vanille: Fang!
Fang: You're as good as dead, if you become a Cie Corpse! I… I want to save you!
Bahamut appears:
What kind of death awaits me now? Even though my l'Cie seal is as broken as my existences itself you pity me?
Snow: Isn't that thing coming to help us?
Fang: Good question. When an Eidolon shows up to save a l'Cie, it's really here to put down those l'Cies who have lost their way.
Snow: I don't think it came here because of that kind of reasoning!
Lightning: I have no intention to wait for salvation. Nor do I want to follow fal'Cie's plan. We shall fight against this Focus till the end.
So Fang, will you help us?

Szene mit Serah und Vanille:

Vanille: [narration] If only this place will last. I would rather let myself turn into Cie Corpse then complete the Focus.
But it was because of me that she was branded as l'Cie.
Serah: How is the scratch?
Vanille: Thanks for the first aid.
But are you sure? I shouldn't be here.
Serah: It's because I like it here.
Vanille: Serah... will I ever see Fang again?
Serah: You will…
Vanille: Really, I've been chasing after her this whole time. I wanted to say sorry, but I couldn't bring myself to do so.
Serah: Is it hard?
Vanille: Yeah. It's like a nightmare.
Serah: If reality is that hard, why don't you run away from it?
When you come back, you might find it to be not that hard, to your surprise.
Vanille: An optimistic observation?
Serah: It's from my personal experience.
I, too, had a bad dream.
Vanille: What kind?
Serah: Don't laugh. I saw the end of the world. I was so scared that I wanted to be alone, so I tried to run away from reality.
...Then he came after me. Thanks to him, now I realize that I am not doing anybody else a favour by leaving them behind.
We should rise up to the challenge together with the people we love!

Vanille: Can I help/do that, too?

Ich würde gerne einmal wissen,warum das Spiel bei uns so verändert wurde im Gegensatz zu Japan. Was es für einen Sinn gehabt haben soll und was für eine Motivation dahinter steckt. Denn wenn man es so sieht,ist das wirklich eine Benachteiligung von uns gegenüber Japan ._.

Da es sich also nicht um eine explizit geäußerte Liebe zwischen Fang und Vanille handelt, frage auch ich mich, warum das Thema "an deiner Seite bleiben" nicht in die westliche Version übernommen hat.

Ich vermute aber, dass Episode Zero -Promise- nicht abgeändert und einfach nur aus dem Japanischen übersetzt wird. Wäre zumindest wünschenswert, weil wir dadurch vielleicht Charaktereinblicke erlangen, die im Spiel nur blass angedeutet wurden.

Ich hör/les gerade zum ersten Mal davon und ich bin ehrlich gesagt schockiert...
Square Enix neigt ja jüngst immer mehr zu Modifikationen von Spielen für den westlichen Markt, aber...

What's the point?!

Die können doch nicht ernsthaft gemutmaßt haben, dass sich das Spiel auf dem westlichen Markt schlechter verkaufen ließe, wenn man es nur originalgetreu übersetzt?!

Oooh, ich mochte die englische Stimme von Fang auch viiieel mehr. Die hat wirklich verflucht gut zu ihr als Person gepasst...
