Die drei Famitsu-Redakteure, die bereits die FF XIII-2 Demo angetestet haben, nahmen nun auch das Nintendo 3DS-Spiel Final Fantasy Theatrhythm ins Visier, das 2012 in Japan erscheint.

Das Musikspiel mit Geschicklichkeitsaspekten zeigt die FF-Hauptcharaktere in Kämpfe verwickelt und durch Areale laufend, sowie Zwischensequenzen, in denen man stets die richtigen Tastenkombis drücken muss, um Punkte zu sammeln und weiterzukommen. Auch Beschwörungen sind aufrufbar, so ist Ifrit im Kampf gegen einen Tombery zu sehen.
