Vor ein paar Tagen haben Square Enix und DeNA eine Teaser-Seite zu Final Fantasy Record Keeper eröffnet. Mittlerweile hält die Seite erste Informationen zu diesem neuen Smartphone-Spiel bereit, das den Spieler Geschichten aus vergangenen Final Fantasy-Spielen erleben lässt.

In Final Fantasy Record Keeper spielt man Deci, der als bester Student im Fachbereich Geschichte unter Dr. Mog arbeitet. Dr. Mog kann Magie anwenden, durch die Deci in Gemälde eintauchen kann und die darin versiegelten Geschichten und Erinnerungen aus verschiedenen Welten erleben kann. Diese Welten sind die bekannten Final Fantasy-Spiele.

Jedes Final Fantasy-Spiel aus der Hauptreihe bekommt seine eigene Welt. Wenn man die Dungeons in einer Welt abschließt, kann man einige der bekannten Charaktere freispielen. Deci kann zusammen mit diesen Charakteren gegen Gegner aus den jeweiligen Spielen kämpfen. Es wird auch möglich sein, Charaktere aus verschiedenen Spielen in einer Gruppe kämpfen zu lassen. Durch Waffen und Abilities können die Charaktere aufgebessert werden.
